Electromagnetic Shockwave 350G Electromagnetic Shockwave 350G
Shockwave 350G is a radial shockwave device featuring an electromagnetic system, designed and developed as part of the Grand product series by Novin Medical Engineering Company. In 2023 the Shockwave 350G was unveiled as the first domestically manufactured shockwave device by Novin Medical Engineering Company. Since then, it has been utilized in over 600 clinics across both private and public healthcare centers nationwide. The innovative and unique technology of the Grand series is the result of years of continuous effort and dedication by the company’s experienced research and development team.
About modality
One of the newest methods for treating musculoskeletal disorders is the use of shockwave therapy. Shockwave is a powerful wave with high energy and amplitude, and like ultrasound, it is considered a type of sound wave. Shockwaves have a pulsed pattern, meaning that in each shockwave pulse, the pressure rapidly reaches its peak within a very short time (around a few nanoseconds) with a very steep slope. This treatment method is suitable for chronic conditions, recurrent disorders, and cases that have not responded to other treatment methods. Shockwave therapy has various applications in fields such as physiotherapy, sports medicine, aesthetics, and urology.
Therapeutic applications
Shockwave therapy stimulates the body’s natural healing process and reduces the time needed for recovery. Researchers believe that the mechanical energy of shockwaves induces microtrauma and cellular-level damage in the targeted tissue. These micro-injuries lead to the release of angiogenic growth factors, promote neovascularization, and increase blood supply to the targeted tissue.
